Obstacle 3

Over and Under

Over and Under challenges adaptability and endurance through alternating barriers that must be cleared with quick transitions. Participants leap or vault over tall walls, then immediately drop and crawl beneath low beams or logs, mimicking battlefield maneuvers under enemy fire or natural obstructions. This constant change in elevation forces engagement of the entire body—upper strength for climbing, core control for balance, and lower strength for explosive movement. Beyond physicality, it teaches rapid decision-making under time pressure, conditioning participants to react instinctively in unpredictable environments. Over and Under is all about versatility—because combat rarely happens on level ground.
